POSTED BY BOSWORTH FOR SENATE ON May 21, 2014 Share
Sioux Falls, SD, May 21, 2014– A new campaign TV spot by South Dakota Senate Candidate Annette Bosworth refutes multiple claims made by Mike Rounds that he created jobs while serving as Governor of South Dakota.
Bosworth responds with the conservative message that politicians don’t create jobs, which echoes statements made by Texas Firebrand Senator Ted Cruz in a recent Dallas Morning News article:
Sen. Ted Cruz says Gov. Rick Perry has done a good job leading the state but isn’t responsible for the booming economy that has created more than 1 million jobs in the decade he’s been governor.
“There isn’t a politician in this country who’s responsible for the economic growth we have,” Cruz said Friday.
“The economic growth has come from the private sector, it’s come from entrepreneurs. Nothing drives me crazier than politicians who run around talking about the jobs they’ve created.”
Unlike career politician Mike Rounds, Republican Senate candidate Dr. Annette Bosworth agrees with Sen. Cruz that jobs are created by the private sector, not elected officials.
